Beth’s Next Chapter

Beth McEwen’s life has been and continues to be dedicated to serving others. Beth retired in 2025 after serving for 30+ years in the public and private sector in roles such as Municipal Clerk, Deputy Clerk, Legal Secretary, Wedding Commissioner, Life Coach, Entrepreneur, and non-profit board member and volunteer.
Beth received her Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation in 2004 and her Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) certification in 2012. She was honored with the Alaska Municipal Employee of the Year award in 2015 and the Alaska Municipal Clerk of the Year award in 2023.
After her 2025 Municipal Clerk retirement, Beth resumed her entrepreneurial passions of working with non-profit boards, facilitating leadership development and organizational workshops. She has also pursued world travel and discovered a new hobby, the joy of watercolor painting. Welcome to Beth’s Next Chapter Adventures!
